The basic clip-in ball is inserted between the ends of a ball closure ring using ring closing pliers. When selecting the ball, make sure it fits precisely between the ring ends to ensure a secure hold. The clip-in ball is also available in anodized versions.

It is suitable for rings with a thickness of 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, and 2.4 mm.
