The lower part of the jewellery is flattened, whereas the upper end is closed with a threaded ball (a labret / stud thus consists of a rod with a platelet and a ball). The thread of the stud is externally threaded, its ball can be screwed onto the external thread. When inserting the stud, please take care not to damage the skin tissue. By the way, all threads in our jewellery collections are standardised, so you can combine rings, balls, rods and attachments with each other!
The labret can be sterilised in an autoclave and is absolutely safe for allergy sufferers because the material is kind to the skin.
You can use it in many different places. The plug looks particularly beautiful in your helix, lobe, medusa or as a lip piercing.
