The Basic Barbell from our new GRAYPHITE Line™ has a bar thickness of 1.6 mm and a ball size of 5.0 mm. The barbell is externally threaded, meaning the balls can be screwed onto the external thread of the bar. Please take care during insertion to avoid any injury to the skin tissue. All threads in our jewellery collections are standardised, allowing you to mix and match rings, balls, bars, and attachments!
All basics of the GRAYPHITE Line™ are made from titanium, making them fully autoclavable and completely safe for allergy sufferers due to the material’s skin-friendly properties. The oxide layer of the titanium used for our GRAYPHITE Line™ jewellery is optimised through a special process. This hardens the surface, resulting in increased abrasion and tensile strength as well as maximum passivation and corrosion resistance. Furthermore, this process prevents the “cold welding” of titanium.
