The triple X ring is made of 925 silver and a 316L surgical steel Ball Closure Ring. Instead of a clamping ball, the BCR is closed by three X’s strung together. 

The ring is 1.6 mm thick and available in diameters of 10.0 and 12.0 mm. The material is harmless when used as intended.
